How to add recurring payments?

Recurring payments are great for supporting memberships, sustaining donors, recurring invoices or other use cases that require a payer to be charged multiple times. EverButton makes it really easy to allow for recurring payment options on the buttons.

Step 1: Choose recurring payment option

Login to your EverButton account. Navigate to the button settings page and select the "Recurring Payments" dropdown option. You have three choices:

  • Disabled (default)
  • Optional
  • Required

To allow recurring, choose either "Optional" or "Required". Optional allows your payers to choose whether they want to make a recurring payment. Required makes recurring payments mandatory.

Step 2: Choose recurring period

You will now be see another dropdown called "Recurring Period". Choose one of the recurring period options:

  • Payer chooses (default)
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Bi-Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Yearly
Save your changes. Your payers will now be able to make recurring payments.
